Project: Modern interior with art deco details

The Art Deco style is present in the apartment in a limited way, in the quality of details and accents. Delicate accessories in the historical style do not prevent the interior from looking modern and only emphasize its character.

According to the developer's plan, the apartment was three-room, but the owners wanted to redesign the layout of functional areas. So, in addition to the bedroom, nursery and living room, an office and a separate room for a home theater appeared in the apartment.

Living room and dining room

The living and dining areas are separated from each other only conditionally, limited by decoration: the dining group is surrounded by cladding and parquet board, and in the recreation area polished porcelain stoneware and painted walls become the backdrop.

The large windows were not covered with textiles, but were decorated with Roman blinds. The opening view of the premises in the spirit of Stalinist Art Deco is in harmony with the details of the historical style in this interior.

In the photo: a striking highlight is a composition of three wall mirrors. The square model is decorated with tiles purchased by the owners in Abramtsevo, where they celebrated their wedding.

Kitchen

The kitchen is separated into a separate room and is isolated as much as possible – this is the wish of the hostess. Sliding mirrored partitions, which play the role of doors, make the kitchen almost invisible to prying eyes.

Home theater room

The home theater room is a kind of private recreation area. The main library is also located here. A large and comfortable sofa and blackout curtains make watching movies cozy and comfortable.

Bedroom

The main decorative role in the bedroom interior is played by a panel made of embossed porcelain stoneware at the head of the bed. Despite the cautious attitude towards stone in the bedroom, the experiment was successful. Porcelain stoneware looks warm and cozy.

The owners abandoned the special dressing room in favor of a spacious built-in wardrobe. Compact storage systems are also placed in the space under the windowsill. Designers turned it into a full-fledged workplace for the hostess.

cabin

The office interior is truly masculine. This is highlighted by an accent wall in a rich burgundy color, metal shelves, and stylish leather-covered armchairs. Vibrant details like a red flower pot and a funky floor lamp add personality to the room.

Child

A boy’s room is designed “to grow” – many elements are easy to change without going overboard with the style.

An interesting solution: two symmetrically placed sections of the walls are covered with paint, on which you can draw with chalk.

bathroom

The apartment has two bathrooms decorated in the same style, with stone-patterned porcelain ceramics and natural mother-of-pearl mosaics.
