The way our kitchen / dining room is designed affects our mood and, according to some researchers, even the taste and quality of the food we cook. Today, we will not go into details about planning the design or functional zoning of kitchen spaces, but it would be better to talk about kitchen wallpaper. Today's market offers a wide variety of covers and we would like to say a few words about it.

The best option for a kitchen, both practically and aesthetically, is a durable washable vinyl wallpaper. It consists of two layers: the lower layer is paper or non-woven, the upper layer is made of decorative and protective PVC. Thanks to the presence of this solid upper layer, vinyl paper offers a wide variety of patterns and reliefs. However, you should know that this is not the safest option in terms of environmental protection.

Non-woven wallpaper is produced from pressed cellulose fibers, which can be embossed or decorated with a pattern and, as a rule, painted. The best thing about such wallpapers is that non-woven surfaces can “breathe” and therefore fungus or mold cannot form under them.

Washable wallpaper is not a defined type of wallpaper material; it is just one of the features that a kitchen wall covering should normally have. Washable wallpaper can be simply waterproof, meaning it can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth; washable: it can be cleaned with a cloth or sponge dipped in a slightly alkaline solution; super-washable: it can be washed with a soapy sponge; and finally super-washable and friction-resistant, meaning you can even use a brush to clean it.

However, there is a win-win option: imagine what does not bother you in the world around you and look for a wallpaper with a pattern that is as similar as possible to it.
