Classic style duplex apartment

The clients had 2 main requests: maximum natural light and no experimentation with modern trends.

Residential

The two levels are demarcated according to the principle of privacy. The first floor contains common areas and a utility room, the second floor contains bedrooms, dressing rooms and bathrooms.

Sitting room

The centrepiece of the ground floor is the bright, almost entirely white living room with tall doors, giving it an atmosphere with a slight vintage touch.

The living room is clearly divided into areas for relaxing and eating. In the first section there is a large sofa from the Duresta factory and an elegantly carved console behind it. The dining area is dominated by a dark wood dining group: Galimberti Nino table and chairs.

Initially, customers were against dark furniture in the interior. However, designers managed to defend the position that the living room would look pale only with light furniture. Thus, a few dark accents appeared in the bright interior.

Kitchen

Tall stained glass doors separate the kitchen from the living room with its own dining area. Both rooms have something in common: the same herringbone floor, white tones and similar carved facades. The chairs for the two dining groups were also chosen to be the same.

The kitchen is specially equipped for cooking and meal preparation. A pantry is allocated for storage and other household needs. In it, you can take a bottle of wine for dinner or leave bags of groceries.

Stairs to second floor

The floors are connected by an elegant, curved staircase that continues the contrasting line of the living room: white carved balusters complement the dark steps.

Master bedroom

The bedroom is furnished for rest and relaxation. A bed with an upholstered headboard, elegant decorative textiles and a pastel palette contribute to a peaceful sleep and a comfortable awakening.

Child

Adult children of the apartment owners live separately. But grandchildren often come to visit their grandparents. Therefore, a large area on the second floor is reserved for the nursery: you can stay overnight in it and organize outdoor games.

cabin

The office is necessary for both owners of the apartment – spouses work a lot. There is not a single unnecessary detail in this room. A comfortable desk, a sofa for relaxing, spacious shelves for a home library and dark curtains made of fine wool for comfortable lighting – everything sets you up for productive work.

Home Cinema

In an apartment where all rooms are decorated in the style of European classics, a home theater in an oriental style becomes a real surprise. Bright low sofas, handmade colored glass lamps and soft curtains on the windows create the right atmosphere for oriental relaxation.

Bathroom and toilet

Oriental motifs continued in the design of the master's bathroom: mosaic on the floor and walls, a characteristic niche with a pattern of handmade tiles, carved moldings with intricate ornamentation.

The second bathroom in the apartment is decorated more traditionally: marble porcelain tiles on the floor, laconic tiles on the walls. A cozy area for household needs is equipped here. Folding doors hide storage shelves and a washing machine.

Wardrobe and storage space

In this apartment, large wardrobes were avoided. For storing clothes, dressing rooms with a well-thought-out system of cabinets and shelves are provided.
