Project: Scandinavian style apartment with three children's rooms

Residential

Initially, the task is to divide the area into just over 150 m.2 Three full-fledged children's rooms, an independent parental unit with wardrobe and a spacious kitchen-living room seemed unrealistic to the team of architects.

But as a result of competent design, all the premises were lined up exactly as the owners wanted – with a clear division of the apartment into parent and child parts.

Kitchen, living room

One of the homeowners' requests was that the bedroom be a little further away from the three children's rooms. Therefore, the central place in the layout was taken to the living room, which divides the apartment into children's and parents' parts.

The architects of the project recessed the kitchen into a niche and fenced it off with glass sliding panels, which gave it a certain autonomy.

Partial matting of the partition does not allow the countertop surface to be seen from the living room. This is convenient – at any time, for example, when guests arrive unexpectedly, the room can be given a neat appearance.

The dining area is part of the living room. Some details, such as plates and a print on the wall, were picked up by the hostess herself. They add Scandinavian accents to the interior.

Master bedroom

The clients' request was to place a maximum amount of storage space in the bedroom. So the bed ended in a gap between two long pencil cases and volumetric wardrobes were placed against the walls. The window bench can also store bed linen and household linens.

Children's rooms

The client's family has three children: girls aged three and ten, and a boy aged five. Each child's room is decorated in its own style, but none of them go beyond the basic concept.

The child's bedroom is also a playroom. It turned out to be the most spacious.

Bathrooms and toilets

The master bathroom is designed in dark colors with one bright accent – a yellow shield that hides the boiler. The bathroom is separated from the bathroom by a light partition.

The children's area has its own bathroom, decorated in the same bright colors as the rooms.
