Gothic style home decoration

Owner: young businessman.
Interior idea: Protect the marine environment and relate to the yacht deck to improve the panoramic view of the bay.

Residential

The apartment has a complex configuration, the external walls form a broken line and have panoramic windows. The main desire of the client was a competent distribution of space and minimal division into separate rooms. Therefore, the bedroom is connected to the living room and hall by high accordion doors located on the sides of the dividing wall.

The kitchen-living room forms a single space, the bathroom, dressing room and laundry room are divided into separate rooms.

Kitchen, living room

Due to the fact that the apartment is located on the top floor of the new building, it was possible to place a real fireplace with a chimney in the living room – it became the semantic and compositional center. The fireplace has modern shapes: the firebox is made of glass, and the body is made of black metal. Sitting in an armchair, you can enjoy the warmth of the hearth and admire the fire from anywhere in the living room.

The TV area is located in a small niche opposite the window.

A kitchen set in neutral colors with a concise facade does not focus on itself, but is perceived as part of the wooden finish.

In addition to the bar counter, the kitchen area has a full-fledged dining group: a table from the Emmemobili factory and Bonaldo Venere chairs.

Bedroom

Like the living room, the bedroom is also made of teak wood.

The owner's love for the Gothic style is expressed in some details. The ceiling lamp with a stained glass effect is reminiscent of a medieval stained glass window. It is complemented by a bed with a “tufted” at the back, designed for a canopy. The headboard is decorated with leather.

bathroom

The walls in the bathroom are covered with natural stone in a natural tone. The ceiling follows the decoration of the bedroom.

The functional areas are illuminated with recessed lights and the shower is separated by a glass partition.
